2020 Track Season Officially Cancelled

It is with great sadness that we announce the official cancellation of our season. While it was expected, it doesn’t make it any easier to have lost this opportunity. Participating in Track & Field is important to building skills in leadership, collaboration, and overcoming adversity. In addition, we are saddened by the memories and experiences that will be missed. We are thankful for the indoor season that we were able to partake in. The culture established and the energy displayed in that short time frame was a joy to be around. We look forward to getting the opportunity to compete next year. Until then we must move forward. It is ok to be sad or disappointed, but we must not dwell on things we cannot control. Instead, continue to work hard in the classroom, regardless of your academic standing in that class. Be good citizens and if you have the ability, help others. Most importantly, take care of yourself and your families. You have the opportunity to still grow and make a difference. Stay safe and healthy until we are together again.

To Our Seniors,
Senior year is a special time in your life where a celebration of your impending graduation creates lifelong memories. We are sorry that you had to miss out on that. We want to thank you for the countless hours and the energy you put into this program. The class of 2020 has had a lasting impact on our teams and we are forever grateful. Even though senior year ended abruptly, you will still have a lifetime to make other joyful memories throughout various parts of your life. We are thankful that your options are limitless. We wish you joy and happiness in your future.
