Barrington, Buffalo Grove, Grayslake (Central), Grayslake (North), Gurnee (Warren), Lake Villa (Lakes), Lake Zurich, Libertyville, Lincolnshire (Stevenson), Mundelein (H.S.), Palatine (Fremd), Palatine (H.S.), Round Lake, Vernon Hills, Wauconda, Waukegan (H.S.), and Zion (Z.-Benton).
Facilities: The track is an eight-lane all-weather track. Flat or 1/4” spikes only. The pole vault is at the North end of the track with pits on both ends. The high jump is located at the South end of the track. The long and triple jump pits are on the East side of the track. We have only one runway that runs North/South ending with a pit at each end. The shot put is to the West of the track next to the building. The discus is out beyond the baseball and softball fields. The shot and discus rings are depressed cement.
T-shirts: There will be Sectional t-shirts available for $20, tie dye t-shirts for $25 and hooded sweatshirts for $30. They are offered on a first come, first served basis.
Scoring: The meet will be scored 10-8-6-4-2-1. Medals will be awarded for the top 6 places in all events. A 3A Sectional Team Championship Plaque will also be awarded.
Athletic Trainer: There will be two athletic trainers on site the day of the meet.
Admission: General Admission price set by IHSA is $5.00. Please bring your pass list to the seeding meeting.
Concessions: The Grayslake North Booster Club will operate the concession stand throughout the meet. Washrooms are also located at the concession stand. Meal tickets for 4 coaches will be given at the scratch meeting on Friday afternoon.
Tents: Teams are not permitted on the infield. You may set up tents at the South end of the stadium near the scoreboard. Please enter this area through the gate nearest the parking lot. Participants must remain in these designated areas or in the bleachers when not competing. Coaches and athletes need to stay clear of the finish line.
Track Markings: White: 200M, 300M Hurdles, 400M, 1600M—3200M Waterfall, Common Finish Line
Gold: 100M, 100M Hurdle start, 400 Relay exchange, 100 hurdle marks
Blue: 110M Hurdle start, 1600 Relay Start, 110 hurdle marks
Red: 800 Relay start, 800 Relay exchange, 1600 Relay exchange, 300 hurdle marks
Green: 800M Box Alley Starts, Break Line
Time Schedule
3:15pm Shot, Discus, Pole Vault weigh-ins available in the auxiliary gym
- All pole vaulters, shots, and discs must be weighed in by meet officials
- Pole Vaulters must be dressed in what they will compete in
3:45pm Scratch Meeting for coaches in auxiliary gym just inside the building. Workers meeting with meet referee.
4:15 pm Field Events

Triple Jump 3 flights (top flight last) finals immediately follow (warm up begins right after completion of long jump)
Nine competitors advance to the finals in the Long Jump, Triple Jump, Shot Put and Discus
