Coach West has guided the Girls Cross Country team since their first state finals appearance in 2008. During his tenure, he has guided the Girls to 5 regional titles, the most recent being in 2016. In addition he has coached Hannah Wittman, Kathryn Dean, Rachel Dean, & Kortney Schardt to All State honors. A graduate of Loyola University, Coach West teaches Special Education at Lakes. Having competed for Loyola, Coach West brings his NCAA expertise to the track. He is an assistant track coach, primarily specializing in hurdles & high jump. Holding a USATF Level 1 certification, Coach West brings valuable skills to the coaching staff.
