Spring Break Workout Plans

We have optional practice during Spring Break. Practice will be 8 to 10am on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. Athletes are expected to stay in good shape over the break. Below are possible workouts for each group (Sprints, Throws, Jumps, Distance). We have a meet hte Tuesday we come back from break. You should be ready to compete! Please contact Coach Ellerman or Coach Shepherd with questions or concerns. 

 

* It is an Athlete's responsibility to stay active and keep in shape. Athletes who are looking to improve and reach their goals don't make EXCUSES and continue to improve.

 

SPRINT WORKOUT

WARMUP:              5 MIN. JOG – FORM RUN / STRIDERS / BUILDERS

MONDAY:              5 x 75 SEC RUN                               3 MIN. REST

                           5MIN COOL DOWN JOG; STRETCH

TUESDAY:             OFF

WEDNESDAY:      8 x 60 SEC SPRINT              2 MIN. REST

                          5 MIN COOL DOWN JOG; STRETCH

THURSDAY:          OFF

FRIDAY:             10 x 30 SEC SPRINT             1 MIN. REST

                          5 MIN COOL DOWN JOG; STRETCH

SATURDAY/          20 MINUTE JOG
